Danish audio brand AIAIAI has announced a multi-year global partnership with Icelandic artist Björk, centred around her upcoming international touring museum exhibition, Echolalia.
The collaboration positions AIAIAI as the exclusive headphone partner for the entire run of the exhibition, with the brand’s white TMA-2 Move headphones serving as the primary listening interface for visitors at every venue worldwide.
Echolalia launched on 31 May 2026 at the National Gallery of Iceland in Reykjavík before heading to confirmed stops in London, Paris, Tokyo, New York, and Sydney. The exhibition is described as a theatrical-scale, immersive audiovisual landscape exploring the relationship between voice, body, and nature, with sound designed to behave like physical matter across the space, shifting between individual vocal micro-frequencies and collective choral dynamics.
Audiences attending the exhibition will experience new, unreleased music from Björk’s forthcoming album through AIAIAI’s bio-cellulose driver headphones, presented exactly as the artist intended.
The partnership is framed as a two-year creative alliance rather than a straightforward product placement. Both parties cite shared values around design, technical precision, and environmental sustainability as the foundation of the collaboration. The hardware used across venues has been engineered for longevity and modular repairability in line with both brands’ sustainability commitments.
AIAIAI founder Frederik Jørgensen commented on the significance of working with an artist known for her highly selective approach to partnerships. “Working with an artist like Björk is incredibly rare, she’s so selective of who she collaborates with. She doesn’t simply create music or visuals, she builds entirely new worlds. This partnership gave us the opportunity to place our precision technology inside a truly visionary artistic universe with her, where sound, emotion, and innovation exist as one human pulse,” he said.
Björk has stated that her collaborations function as extensions of the artistic process itself, and that she works only with partners whose craftsmanship and creative philosophy she personally admires. The Icelandic artist has continued to push creative boundaries across multiple disciplines in 2026, and the AIAIAI partnership reflects that standard.
Further activity under the AIAIAI x Björk banner is expected to unfold over the two-year timeline. Those interested in updates on upcoming releases and events can sign up via the AIAIAI website.
