Korg has announced the NTS-4, a compact analog performance mixer kit designed for musicians using Volca units, NTS instruments, Eurorack modules and desktop synthesizers. Part of the company’s Nu:Tekt series, the mixer will be sold as a DIY kit that requires self-assembly without soldering and can be ready for use within minutes.

Korg NTS-4 key features

The NTS-4 features six channels, including four stereo 3.5mm inputs and two mono inputs that are compatible with Eurorack-level signals. The mono inputs include a switchable attenuator, allowing users to alternate between line-level and Eurorack-level sources without additional hardware. Each channel is equipped with dedicated Cue and Mute controls, enabling performers to preview audio through headphones or instantly mute channels during live performances. The mixer also includes Send and Return connections for external effects and can process up to 10 audio signals at a time.

Built-In Effects and USB Connectivity

Furthermore, Korg has included seven per-channel Send effects, including delay, ping-pong delay, hall reverb, slap reverb and chorus. The master output also features ten FX options, including low-pass and high-pass filters, isolator, flanger, drive, distortion, compressor and limiter. It supports 48kHz/24-bit USB-C audio and USB MIDI, connecting directly to computers, mobile devices and smartphones. It also includes MIDI Out for controlling external hardware from a DAW.

Built on a steel chassis, the mixer measures 195 × 125 × 38mm and can be powered via USB bus power or an optional 9V AC adapter. Presently, the Korg NTS-4 is only available through authorised Korg retailers. It is priced at $249 USD, €219 EUR, £189 GBP and ¥32,000.
