“For years I kept two copies of almost every vinyl I ever released. Stored away, unplayed, in mint condition, straight from the labels and pressing plants,” Push shared. “After six months of digging through my personal archive, it’s finally time to share it. Rare originals, white labels, promos, test pressings dating back to 1998. In some cases, the only known copies in existence.”
Only one copy of each record goes up for auction. The other stays in his archive forever. That framing turns each listing into a genuinely finite piece of trance history. “Once it’s gone, it’s gone,” he confirmed.
To mark the occasion, Push has also produced special 1/1 acetates of some of his biggest productions, each with its own unique design. The list reads like a trance hall of fame: ‘Universal Nation’, ‘Strange World’, ‘Silver Bath’, and ‘The Legacy’. Any one of those would be a career highlight on its own. Together they anchor the entire uplifting trance canon.
‘Universal Nation’, released in 1998 on Bonzai Records, remains one of the most-played trance tracks of all time and continues to close festival sets across the globe. ‘Strange World’ and ‘The Legacy’ defined the melodic and hard-trance intersection that shaped ISOS-era mainstage sound. ‘Silver Bath’ sits alongside them as a defining moment of the genre’s peak commercial and artistic run.
Beyond the Push alias, Mike Dierickx has released decades of material under M.I.K.E. and M.I.K.E. Push, with a catalogue that runs deep on Bonzai, Black Hole Recordings, and dozens of other imprints. His most recent release, the eighth studio album ‘Known Universe’, landed on Black Hole Recordings in July 2026. Tiësto also revived a M.I.K.E. pres. Push remix of ‘Strange World’ during his historic Atomium open air Brussels set on 31 July.
