Bandcamp has announced the launch of three new radio shows. These radio shows will highlight emerging artists while also hosting deep conversations with a variety of established creators. Each show is designed to explore a specific genre, with these shows being the Electronic Radio Show, the Indie Radio Show and the Gaming Radio Show.
Electronic Radio Show
Hosted by BBC Radio DJ Emily Dust, the Electronic Radio show was launched on February 25. As the name suggests, it focuses on electronic music and has featured both underground and established artists thus far. The first episode included UK producer Nathan Fake, who discussed his creative process and influences.
Indie Radio Show
Hosted by Bandcamp Daily senior editor Mariana Timony, the show was launched on March 4. The debut episode featured John Dwyer of Osees, offering insights into his songwriting and the indie music scene.
Gaming Radio Show
Hosted by Bandcamp Daily editor Zoe Camp, this radio show is set to launch on March 30. It will focus mainly on video game music, featuring composers, developers and artists working in the gaming space.
The new shows will release weekly episodes featuring new guests. They join existing Bandcamp Radio shows, including Bandcamp Selects, as well as dedicated metal and hip-hop shows.
You can check out the shows via Bandcamp’s radio platform here.
