Just a week after the shocking cancellation of the 2026 edition, the tribe finally has something to hold onto. Defqon.1 has officially confirmed its 2027 return, with Q-dance announcing that the festival is coming back to the Holy Grounds on 24, 25, 26 and 27 June 2027. It is a much-needed piece of forward-looking news for Warriors around the world.

Four days of Defqon.1 return to the Holy Grounds in June 2027

“Our journey continues,” the statement reads. “Warriors, Defqon.1 returns to the Holy Grounds on 24, 25, 26 and 27 June 2027. Together, we return stronger than ever. We cannot wait to welcome you home once again. Forever One Tribe.” It is a symbolic message from an organisation that just had to end its 2026 edition unexpectedly following the Netherlands’ first-ever KNMI code-red heat warning.

The confirmation follows Q-dance’s earlier announcement that all 2026 ticket holders can either roll their tickets over to the 2027 edition or opt for a full refund. Notably, the 2026 Endshow was also filmed on the empty Holy Grounds and shared this week, giving fans a bittersweet emotional close to the year that never fully was. Alongside Tomorrowland, Defqon.1 remains one of the pillar summer events on the European festival calendar.

Full ticket sale details and lineup announcements are expected in the coming months. For now, all information is available on the official Defqon.1 site. See you back on the Holy Grounds next June, Warriors.
