Circus Maximus has officially landed on the European festival map. The brand-new four-night electronic music event takes over Sarajevo from August 18 to 21, 2026, with a Phase 1 lineup spanning eight headline performances at the iconic Hotel Europe Garden.

Crucially, the festival positions Bosnia and Herzegovina firmly on the global dance music calendar. The open-air garden venue sits in Sarajevo’s historic centre. As a result, fans get four nights of headline production wrapped inside one of Europe’s most culturally layered cities.

Notably, the Phase 1 roster pulls together Grammy-winning veterans and chart-topping global hitmakers. NERVO, Fedde Le Grand, Kaaze, Le Twins, Plastik Funk, Quintino, Regard and Burak Yeter all join the bill. Furthermore, the lineup spans big-room, future house, deep house and pop-EDM.

Meanwhile, the night-by-night split is locked. Tuesday, August 18 opens with Le Twins and Quintino. Wednesday, August 19 brings Regard and Fedde Le Grand. Thursday, August 20 hands the decks to NERVO and Burak Yeter. Friday, August 21 closes with Kaaze and Plastik Funk.

Equally, the festival’s curatorial pitch matches the room. Together, the lineup represents billions of streams and headline performances at Tomorrowland, Ultra, EDC and Creamfields. Indeed, that is the standard Circus Maximus wants to bring to Sarajevo.

Beyond the music, the city itself is part of the pitch. Sarajevo has long been a cultural crossroads, mixing Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian and modern European heritage in a single skyline. In short, Circus Maximus wants the trip to be as memorable as the lineup.
